2. Working bee/Christmas party.
Sixteen members (16) were in attendance at both events. A lot was done. All onion weed and oxalis was removed along the pathways. The orchard was netted and mulch was spread along the pathways. Thank you, Graham, Tony G., Helmut, Karen, Peter, Paul P. , Rhiannon and Tony M. Also, thank you Wendy and Michael for donating a net for the orchard.
3. The shed was swept out and tools washed. Thank you, Rebecca and Monica.
4. Christmas BBQ
The Christmas BBQ was enjoyed by everyone. David Ashton, our head cook, did a wonderful job. As usual Swee turned her hand to setting out the table and decorations, and her special White Christmas cakes. Thank you Monica for the flower arrangements, and to everyone who brought a plate. We had a feast and everything was delicious.
5. Thank you, to those who spread mulch along some of the pathways on the days before the working bee. Thank you, Tony Capponi.
On behalf of the Committee, I would like to wish all our members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and if you are travelling, safe travels.
Happy gardening,
Anne Symonds,
